How a 11-Team Round Robin Works
In a round robin, every team plays every other team — no one is eliminated, and the final standings reflect performance across the whole event rather than a single knockout result. With 11 teams that means 55 games spread over 11 rounds, and each team plays 10 matches. Because 11 is an odd number, one team sits out (a "bye") in each round — there's no way around it, so build the bye into your schedule and rotate it fairly, which the fixture above already does.
Round robin is the fairest format and the one rec leagues, clubs, and group stages rely on, because a single bad game doesn't send anyone home. The trade-off is game count — round robins grow quickly as you add teams — so for larger fields many organizers split into two pools, run a round robin within each, then send the top finishers to a knockout bracket. Standings are ranked by wins first, then point differential as the tiebreak, then head-to-head.
The painful part of running one by hand is keeping the standings current as scores come in, and telling everyone which game is next. That's what Rise is building: enter a result and the 11-team table re-ranks itself instantly, on a screen at the venue and on every player's phone. It's on the 2026 roadmap — join the waitlist to get it first.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many games are in a 11-team round robin?
A 11-team round robin has 55 games in total — every team plays all 10 of the others exactly once. The games run across 11 rounds, with one team on a bye each round.
How many rounds in a 11-team round robin?
11 rounds. With an odd number of teams you need 11 rounds because one team rests each round. The full fixture list is above.
How do you break ties in the standings?
The standard order is wins first, then point (or run/goal) differential, then head-to-head result between the tied teams. Decide your tiebreak rules before the event and post them with the schedule. Rise's auto-standings (coming soon) apply them for you so you never recalculate a table by hand.
