I've made a major change to the score algorithm to make the guru score more reliable.  You will see this reflected in your ranking.

What's gone:

- blog posts, slideshare views and points for twitter activity - social media score collectors require a considerable amount of maintenance, over time they pick up bugs and this means some people don't get the scores they were expecting. Since there is insufficient revenue from these score collectors to justify our continued maintenance of them, we are now deprecating them.

What's back:

- Klout score, we come full circle to use the metric the gurus started with back in November 2011.

What's new:

- 50% of points will be achieved simply by tweeting 10 times in the month about gamification.

The intention of all this is to base rankings on Klout score which is a third party measure of social media influence. The board is only for bona fide gamification gurus so the requirement to tweet at least 10 times in a month just sets the bar so that non-gamification people can't get on the board simply by having a high Klout score.
